For anyone curious about the topic as I am, this blog is about the ethical issues surrounding extreme adjustments to the human state, specifically through eugenics, cybernetic implants, etc. The direct inspiration for me was my brief experience with the anime Ghost in the Shell which deals seriously with the futuristic world in which immense cybernetic modifications to humanity have altered the way human identity is perceived. In essence, I want to know how biblical the field of human enhancement could possibly be, whether there is a place for it, how far that goes, and examine the core of the moral world surrounding the topic.
